An award-winning author, poet, freelancer, and speaker, Donna’s debut picture book, Bink and Slinky’s Ark Adventure won a gold Mom’s Choice Award and two First Place accolades from The International Children’s Literary Classics Committee: “Best First Picture Book” and “Best Faith Based Book.” She’s published in Clubhouse, Clubhouse Jr, Ideals, Guidepost, Today's Christian Woman, Mature Living, Marriage Partnership, War Cry and several other magazines, as well as in many anthologies. Her poetry garnered both First and Second Place in the 2011 Athanatos Christian Writer's Competition.

 

Donna spends her free time hiking and bicycling with her darling husband of 45 years. Like Peter Pan, she carries a little fairy dust with her at all times in case she decides to fly.
